Here is some recent prayer news for May 2, 2014
We praise the Lord for the strength that he gave to fulfill our March schedule. Yes, the travel does take more out of us than it did 30 years ago, and we did have to cancel an early April meeting in Maine due to sickness, yet it has been wonderful to rejoice with supporting churches over what God has done through
their faithful support over the years. And it has been refreshing to share our burden for French speaking Canadians in a few new churches. As this year progresses, we will be traveling to fewer supporting churches and more new churches. Do pray that God would lead us to the new partnerships that are necessary for our vision of training young French-speaking Canadians for future service in the harvest fields.
As of April, Simon has been the pastor for one year. The unity in the church is truly something to behold, exciting changes are being made, and they are beginning to witness some new growth. All of this is in large part possible because of your prayerful investment in the ministry here from 2004 to 2013 (Philippians 4:17). Thank you!
The process has been long and hard and it is not yet over. However, as of this writing we are happy to report that Catherine has not had an epileptic seizure for over four months. She is indeed doing much, much better! We are now able to dream about her future in more concrete terms. She is praying specifically about returning to a normal job by this summer, and to a Christian education in the USA in fall of 2015. We praise God for all that He has taught us through this ordeal and for all that He will continue to make known. Thank you for your continued prayers.
