Linton Free Church - Whats on this Week?

Here is another edition of our weekly 'Whats On' email. Don't forget, you can always check the church calendar which is on the website and can be found here.

Next Sunday (6th December) Derek Newton will be bringing us God's message and Janet will be duty elder.
  • Church Cleaning for Christmas - We're planning church cleaning session in preparation for the important Christmas season. Ann Laidlaw is looking for volunteers to help on the 12th of December between 10am and 1pm. Do help out if you can.
  • Jellybeans Pram Service - We have planned a church service with a difference for those that come along to our weekly Jellybeans play group. This takes place at 9:30am in the main church building just before Jellybeans starts. Please pray for this great event, that lots of people come and hear the good news message this Christmas.
  • Prayer for the Sick - please do continue to keep those who are ill in your prayers.

Solar Lights Required for Carol Service!

Yes, you heard right, we're after solar powered garden lights for the Carol service... Over the last couple of years the tea lights we've had in jam jars have not been very successful, especially in bad weather. It has been suggested that we use solar powered garden lights instead, but this is only viable if we can borrow sufficient lights. If you have any you can lend for that night please let John Pearson know thanks.
A big THANK YOU to all those who have been helping out with all the various events we have already put on, and will put on before Christmas. It's a very busy time of the year and all your help and generosity of time is much appreciated. God bless!
