Opened as Paula’s Tea Room in 1974 at 6333 Camp Bowie, The Lunch Box has undergone recent refurbishing and an expansion there, as well as the addition of a North Fort Worth location last fall.  In July of 2014, Mr. Khan initiated The Lunch Box’s first extensive remodel in over 30 years for the Camp Bowie store interiors, retaining the iconic green and yellow that have been signature colors since inception. In September, The Lunch Box added a second location to serve dine-in, take-out and catering for the North Fort Worth community from a storefront at 2730 Western Center Boulevard, just doors away from Fred’s Texas Café.

Today, The Lunch Box maintains its original casual environment and timeless charm at both spots. Famous for chicken salad, sandwiches, soups and more, The Lunch Box has been serving the classic café favorites to the growing Fort Worth fan base for four decades. The Lunch Box is also a popular choice for catering and delivery throughout both service areas and has a food truck that travels throughout North Texas.

The Lunch Box flagship restaurant is in the 6333 Shopping Center on Camp Bowie Boulevard at Ridglea Avenue. Phone 817-738-2181. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The recently-added Lunch Box North is located at 2730 Western Center Boulevard in North Fort Worth. Phone 817-307-0313. The Western Center restaurant has similar hours Monday through Saturday but is closed on Sunday.
