Our fourth podcast episode informs you on how the road to become an audio engineer is taken at the IMM (Institute for Music and Media) at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. Professor Dagmar Birwe and student Max Angsten give you an insight into the “Sound and Picture“ bachelor degree course, the manifold extension options and the professional equipment at the RSH. A student project with the rock band “Die Toten Hosen“ demonstrates the essential role which the practical relevance of this study course is playing.

On October 8th we were celebrating our 25th company anniversary. Today the former student founder is the successful managing director of Lehmannaudio. AKG meets Linear Pro in London
In October headphone maker AKG introduced their new top-of-the-line model, the professional K812, at the Red Bull Studios in London. For the presentation Lehmannaudio Linear Pro and StudioCube headphone amps were employed. Thus the two most important manufacturers in this branch – Sennheiser with the HD 800 already before – had introduced their new top-level headphones to the public using our devices.
