It’s the most wonderful time of the year, December is here! A couple of weeks ago, Sinterklaas and his ‘zwarte pieten’ arrived on our island. Although he looks a bit like Santa Claus, ‘Sinterklaas’ (Saint Nicholas) is a very Dutch character loved by children and adults alike. His annual arrival on Curacao and the traditional festivities that follow are a real treat! After his departure at December 6th, we’ll look forward to Christmas!
Have you noticed more and more Christmas decorations are starting to appear? You may want to take a spin over the island during night time and stand in awe over some of the most gorgeously decorated homes. Unfortunately Christmas is also the time of year that some children do not get to open presents while others do. Various organizations on the island collect presents for these less fortunate children. RE/MAX BonBini generously contributes to these causes, and we hope you will do so to!

The team members of RE/MAX BonBini that attended the Expo Habitat International in the JW Mariott in El Rosal Caracas, last October 30th - Nov 3rd, did an outstanding job in showcasing the island of Curacao and several of the interesting investment opportunities currently available. We have noticed a steady increase of interest from Venezuelan based investors, and participating in this event proved a great opportunity to make new connections. Plans are in the making to participate in the expo next year as well. Do you happen to have plans to start developing real estate in Curacao, or do you manage a portfolio and are looking to sell?
