Pữṛṇamadaḥ Pữṛṇamidaṃ Pữṛṇāt  Pữṛṇamudachyate,
Pữṛṇasya  Pữṛṇamādāya  Pữṛṇamevāvaśiṣyate.

That is whole, this is also whole, from that whole this whole has come, having taken away this whole from that whole;  the whole still remains unaffected.
Namaste <<First Name>> <<Last Name>> ji,

The Fourth of July is a very important day in the history of the United States of America when the first group of states declared independence from the British kingdom. We should be proud of this vibrant democracy and pursue personal development in all directions so as to enrich this great nation to yet greater heights. Vedic concepts emphasize duality and in the context of a nation building it enjoins us "Brahma cha Kshtarm cha Rashtram cha ..." (AtharvaVeda 12.5.2) that our scholars and warriors should carry the country forward - the flag can fly high only on a strong mast - Jhanda on a Danda. Our military is strong to guarantee our freedom but Arya Samaj should help increase spiritual strength. Let us build an America that is not only a military superpower but spiritual superpower, too. That would require every individual to rise spiritually.

Our very own Acharya Harishji is delivering the message of Hinduism around the city of Houston!
On Tuesday, 14th June Acharya Harishji presented at a multi-faith event organized by a church. Acharya Harishji represented the core philosophy of Hinduism, Vedic Dharma to more than 100 people.
All are Equal
    - Acharya Dr. Harish Chandra, Ved-Ratna
All conscious beings are children of one God, the Supreme Consciousness that inhabits the entire universe. She provides air, water, food, sunshine, etc. to all without any discrimination. The equality is further stark for the humans. The Vedas make absolutely no distinction among humans. Even if there is a distinction it is in the qualitative nature because, unlike animals and birds, our deeds can be drastically varied. Some people engaged in noble deeds are called Devatas and some wicked people are referred to as Dasyus. Yet, it is level field for all that everybody is blessed with the natural bounties in equal measure so that there is ample room for every individual’s improvement. Nobody can be looked down upon for reasons of birth in a particular family or community. Of course, there is reference to man and woman but there is no inkling of inferiority for women. Indeed, as we will see next, there is evidence in the Vedas that women ought to be treated by men as superior members of the society.
