Hi <<First Name>>,

The deadline is fast approaching to apply to the Health Ambassador Fellowship! All interested applicants must apply by Friday, July 15 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

The Health Ambassador Fellowship, an initiative of the UCLA Labor Center’s Dream Resource Center, is a nine-month long initiative that will train and develop immigrant leaders as health advocates for undocumented Californians in regions considered “health deserts” within California.

Health Ambassadors will work to address wellness through organizational partnership building and community engagement throughout Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, Sacramento and the San Joaquin Valley. They disseminate health materials, create of events that promote enrollment in the health care system, and support educational outreach and advocacy on immigrant health issues. Learn more about the program.

The Health Ambassador Fellowship will take place from October 2016 to June 2017 for a total of 32 weeks.

This is a great opportunity to develop a long-term relationship with an organization committed to community health near you. Please spread the word to anyone who you think would be interested!

Thank you!
