On 17 and 25 June, Unison delivered workshops in SAHK Shek Wai Kok Pre-school Centre and Kit Sam Lam Bing Yim Secondary School respectively for teachers and students. We gave tips to pre-school teachers on serving ethnic minority students with special educational needs and conducted 4 interactive cultural sensitivity workshops for Form One students in the mainstream secondary school. The participants were very responsive and we debunked myths towards the marginalized ethnic community in Hong Kong.
On 10 June, Unison conducted “Meeting People from Different Careers” workshop for Delia Memorial School (Hip Wo No.2 College). Thanks to four volunteers from different careers and backgrounds, the students had an opportunity to broaden their horizons and understand the workings of society.
