Unison Chinese Performance Scholarship
融樂會少數族裔中文表現獎

With the generous support of donors, Hong Kong Unison is pleased to announce the 2019-20 Chinese Performance Scholarship for ethnic minority students who attained good grades in DSE Chinese and GCE (AL) Chinese exams. Application Deadline is 5pm on 19 Aug 2019 (Mon).

LegCo Public Hearing on Poverty 立法會公聽會

On 2nd April, Unison and 14 Unison Scholarship Awardees attended the public hearing of Panel on Welfare Service about Hong Kong's poverty situation and setting of a target for poverty elimination. The awardees spoke passionately about the poverty situation of ethnic minority community in Hong Kong, calling on the government to improve policies and cultural sensitivity. Follow Unison's Facebook page in the coming weeks to learn what they spoke about at LegCo!  

Career Coaching 職業指導

Unison and Coaching Café (MeetUp group) organised one-on-one career coaching session for Unison Scholarship awardees on 9th & 10th April. 17 professional coaches signed up for the event pro-bono. The awardees were new to career coaching and they found the sessions very useful and enlightening.

Unison Scholarship Awardee Activity 獎學金得主活動

On 31st March Unison team, intern and scholarship awardees went for a game of laser tag. The fun activity was full of action and helped the group to bond. The awardees had a chance to relax before their final exams.

Tutor Sharing 導師分享會

On 25th April, Unison held a tutor evaluation and sharing session. Existing and new tutors joined the discussion and shared their experiences on their unique techniques of teaching Chinese. They also put forward the difficulties they faced and how they had overcome it. It was overall an insightful sharing.
