ICCPR Public Hearing

Ethnic minority youth lost the opportunity to express their concerns face-to-face at the Legislative Council on the government’s report on the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) when the Chair of the Panel on Constitutional Affairs, Mr. Holden Chow cancelled the originally scheduled 16 November public hearing at the last minute citing public health concerns. Hence, to inform the public about the shortcomings of policies related to ethnic minorities and human rights issues, the youth made short videos. Follow us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/HongKongUnison) and Instagram to watch the videos. We urge the government to reschedule the public hearing as soon as possible.
