Although I have been very busy at the Capitol, I have also been traveling around my district quite a bit. I was part of a Town Hall in El Jebel on February 1st focused on health care insurance rates in mountain communities.

I was also part of a discussion in Paonia on February 8th which was a discussion about the mine idlings in the area and was well-attended.

On February 12th, my bill, HB14-1085 which ensures revenue from the sale of 10th Mountain Division license plates goes to 10th Mountain Foundation; passed 12-0 in the House Transportation Committee.

On February 20th I was very pleased to have Jessica Coffin, one of my young constituents from Lake County High School shadow me during the Gifted and Talented Shadow Program's day at the Capitol.
