WWU to Offer Options for Fall Classes

Students at Walla Walla University will have three options for attending classes during fall quarter. The university will offer more than 100 online and dual-modality classes in addition to in-person classes.

Big Lake Youth Camp Lodge Update

On Monday, July 12, the old Big Lake lodge was dismantled in anticipation of the new one being built this year. So far, the camp has raised $1.4 million in pledges and donations towards the $3 million goal for the new lodge. Help Share Hope to Remote Alaska

The annual North Pacific Union Conference offering, in support of Arctic Mission Adventure, is August 29. This offering is one of the major funding sources for the AMA ministry which is fully funded by donations from supporters. AMA focuses on reaching over 220 bush villages throughout Alaska. Through radio and Bible workers, AMA has been blessed to enter several communities. But there is much work to be done. Offerings and donations can be made through AdventistGiving or through the AMA website.

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For

Most truth is held in the tension of paradox. We like easy answers. We like immediate resolution. The kingdom of the world promises instant satisfaction, but its "pleasures" never last. The kingdom of heaven promises everlasting peace, but you have to wait for it. The kingdom of heaven is coming … but it is also now here. We can taste and see it even now. But the ultimate resolution we are looking for can't be found in a broken world.
