Entrusted Gifts

As we approach the end of a disturbing and volatile year, one important fact can help keep us grounded. God is our Gift-Giver showering us with an everlasting and lavish love. God's pleasure in us is not based on how much we produce or earn. If everything we have is a gift, how can we use what we've been given to share that good news with those who haven't heard? Gem State Mural Celebrates Creation

A new large-scale panorama of the seven days of creation welcomes students and visitors to the amazing world of God's natural sciences at Gem State Adventist Academy, in Nampa, Idaho. It invites viewers to witness creation, explore each day and feel the magnificence and the glory of God's work.


Northwest Adventists Resilient

NAD Year-end Meetings Move Online

Each fall the North American Division welcomes hundreds of executive committee members for the year-end division business meetings. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NAD has decided that it will be safer to hold these meetings virtually. Communicators Join Together

What Churches Might Miss When Measuring Digital Attendance

In the spring of 2020, as much of the United States began enforcing social distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the overwhelming majority of churches accordingly closed their doors. Ministries shifted quickly to digital services as faith leaders and congregants encouraged each other with the reminder "church is more than a building." New Barna data collected his year suggests that viewing and attending church are not seen as the same thing, and a more holistic strategy for digital or hybrid ministry is needed for the long term.
