Montana Schools Hold Assemblies via Zoom

Every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. finds Montana’s Adventist elementary students online enjoying songs, stories and Bible lessons during the conferencewide assembly on Zoom. It's difficult at times to find the positives while experiencing so many negatives during the COVID-19 atmosphere. These assembly times have become a bright spot every week for students and teachers alike.

Boise School Teachers STEM Certified

Boise Valley Adventist School embarked on an adventure in to become the first STEM-accredited Adventist school in the Northwest and the third STEM-accredited school in the Boise Valley. All staff at Boise Valley Adventist School are now STEM-certified.

Cascade Christian Keeps Living for Him With Distance Learning

Google Classroom, FlipGrid, Quizlet, Google Meets … all these were things that were not in our vocabulary before March 16, became a part of normal day-by-day activities. Having rolled out a one-to-one program with Chromebooks four years ago, the transition to distance-learning was smooth for Cascade Christian Academy. They even held their annual week of worship digitally.

Just for Kids

The Pacific Northwest is home to beautiful examples of God's amazing creation. Multnomah Falls is one such spot. This spectacular waterfall is perched along the scenic Columbia River Gorge, east of Portland, Oregon. One of our Northwest Pathfinders drew this lovely picture of the falls for you to color. Working with Kids Online

Currently, ministries across the church are working in new and creative ways to continue to serve their communities, members and young people under extraordinary circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of these efforts have moved online to stay connected and maintain some elements of normalcy. Our church's child protection policies apply to the online environment (cyberspace) as well. Keep in mind that cyberspace changes quickly, and we will need to update our practices and skills as we go.
