Day of Prayer for Racial Justice and Equality

The leadership of the North American Division and the North Pacific Union Conference asks for all members to join in a special day of prayer on Sabbath, June 27. By coming to God in prayerful surrender to Him, we can become the church God wants us to be to reach out to those hurting in all our communities.

WWU Looks Forward to Classes on Campus

Walla Walla University will welcome students back to its campuses in fall for the 2020–2021 academic school year, prioritizing safety and quality education. Classes on the College Place campus will begin Sept. 14, two weeks earlier than normal, and will conclude Nov. 24.

How God Has Blessed

With public health crisis and uncertain economy, the church has been forced to make difficult decisions. The Upper Columbia Conference had voted a contingency plan in light of the economic challenges. However, as of the end of May, the conferenced was blessed with a year-to-date tithe gain of 6.2%.

GC Votes to Reduce Budget

Faced with troubling projections pointing to steep declines in contributions from most regions of the global Adventist Church as a result of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Adventist leaders moved to recommend cuts in the world headquarter's operating budget, including a reduction of some personnel.

NAD Votes $10 Million Stimulus

On June 23, the North American Division Committee voted a stimulus package of $10 million to provide financial assistance to the division's conferences through its unions. This comes at a time when COVID-19 has impacted many Adventist members and entities.

They come from colleagues, family members, brothers and sisters in our churches, and others. Interesting, that as Adventists, with protestant roots, we have to ask the question, if it is OK to protest?
