Dear DigIn Supporters,
We are excited that our DigIn Community Share offer will be launched very soon! Many of you pledged for shares already.
The Digin Steering Group has been putting together a prospectus and fine-tuning the legalities. Watch your email or mailbox for a copy of the Prospectus. Each share will be £25 and you can buy as many as you choose. You can buy a share for anyone 5 and up. Looking forward to welcoming you as a Community Shareholder.
Hunt for premises
We are on the lookout for premises in Bruntsfield. We thought we had found the perfect place, but that did not work out so we are on the hunt again. Premises on Bruntsfield get snapped up quickly so we have to act fast.
Out and About
We met many supporters at our stall at the Edible Edinburgh Feeding the 5,000 community event on October 5th. Perhaps not 5,000, but a lot of people passed by our stall and signed up for news. If you signed up for volunteering we will get in touch with you soon, to see how you might like to work with us.
You may see us around Bruntsfield. We are the ones with the cute retro DigIn logo and the vintage delivery bike (it is rideable but way too heavy for most of us) And yes we have a collection of vintage tins and signs to remind us of the days when food was local.
What DigIn will look like
We will be a regular high street greengrocer shop staffed by a manager and volunteers. We are still working on the product mix and fine tuning our plans. We look forward to being a place to get your fruits and veggies and take part in community food related events.
We are relying on the community to help this venture, if you would like to be involved, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org Please pass this on to friends and supporters of good green local food in our Edinburgh communities.
We have set a big challenge and we know we can count on your support in this exciting venture of bringing DigIn Community Greengrocer and great produce to Bruntsfield.

PS We have urgent need for legal advice, can you help?
