It is only two weeks until we all get together at the WI ASLA Spring Conference!  I look forward to reconnecting with all of you and hearing about all the fun and exciting things happening around the state.

2022 Firm Partnership Opportunities

NEW for 2022 is our new Firm Partnership sponsor levels.  Each partnership includes a subscription to the award-winning Landscape Architecture Magazine, free job listings within the Chapter database, and at least one award entry into the Professional Awards Program. Other benefits include direct contributions to the WI ASLA student scholarship fund, advocacy fund used to help combat licensure threats, and firm representation at all our events and gatherings. We look forward to the support from the many design firms that share in our vision of supporting the future of the profession!

2022 Professional Project Awards - Call for Submissions Back Open!

Exciting news! We have found new volunteers to chair the Awards Committee! We are pleased to announce we have re-opened the award submissions. WI ASLA invites ALL qualified individuals and firms to submit entries for landscape architecture projects located in or out of the State of Wisconsin. All applicants must have primary involvement in their entry and must clearly describe their role in the project. Additionally, projects entered must be submitted with the consent of the client or owner. Submitting more than one entry in any given category and/or across categories is encouraged as the jury has the ability to select multiple projects within each category to be recognized with an award.

All entries must be received by 5:00 PM CST on Friday, March 4th, 2022

ASLA Partnerships

ASLA announced last week that it has secured strategic partnerships with Land8 Media and the LABASH Conference. The partnerships will expand the audience for landscape architects and landscape architecture.  The Communications & Marketing team refined communications to key ASLA constituencies via mail messages; drafted and issued press releases; and developed a social media campaign regarding the new partnership.

The Call for Presentations for the ASLA 2022 Conference on Landscape Architecture in San Francisco is open. Proposals are due by Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 12:00 NOON PT. Please visit the submission site to learn more about the 2022 education tracks, submission criteria, review process, and key dates.

ASLA Climate Action Committee
