The last few months have been busy ones! I can't believe January is more than half way over; 2014 is finally settling in. This past season was rich with opportunities. I taught a 3-day workshop at Dahlquist Studios in Kanas City, participated in the exhibition Naturally, featuring fellow RIT Alumni Stephanie Clark and Petra Tuns at Matchbox Gallery in Houston, TX and had 3 pieces in the Small Works Exhibition at JRB Art at the Elms in Oklahoma City. All the while I have been photographing the Lichen Collection in the University of Central Oklahoma's Herbarium. I made new lichen drawings for ARTNOW, 15 new weather frescos for Looking West and lots of cut paper lichen constructions for Symbiosis. Many exciting things are on deck for spring including a site-specific installation in Norman! Stay tuned for another Update from The Institute. Want to see what I am doing in the mean time?
