It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High.
It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening. (Psalm 92:1-2 NLT)

AWAKEN THE DAWN
The recorded message premiered on Sunday morning is called "Awaken the Dawn." Phil will paint a sunrise scene while he preaches a message based on the words from Psalm 108 and Malachi 4:2 "The sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings." This was a word we received during one of the zoom prayer meetings and that we need to prayer for a new day of blessing to dawn in our lives and our Church.

Lessons from Lockdown will be taking a break for the time being.

The Neighbours Prayer
Father, I ask you to bless my neighbours.
Protect their bodies from sickness.
Protect their hearts from fear.
Protect their minds from distraction.
Fill their hearts with peace
Give me an opportunity to serve them with my hands, and share your love with my mouth
Amen

Lockdown Easing
Although the Scottish Government have announced that churches may open for services with limited numbers from 15th July we are not ready to do so. A decision  regarding this will be made when Chris and Ruth return from holiday. Meantime, we will continue with online church, and this will at least continue for the month of July.
In preparation for opening the building needs cleaning. Another session is planned on Tuesday (21st) 10am - 1pm if anyone is able to help.

Pray for the Republic of Ireland
The Catholic Church was, for centuries the preserver and defender of the Irish. Catalyzed by secularism, the rapid onset of modernity and  a series of high-profile scandals and cover-ups in the priesthood, the nation is rapidly losing the deep Catholic sensibilities that once tied it together. Weekly church attendance has dropped from 85% to 50%, and is as low as 5% in parts of Dublin - and there are more non-religious Irish than ever before. Despite this, there is a vibrant charismatic renewal movement within the Catholic Church and unprecedented collaboration with other expressions of the Christian faith. Pray for the Irish nation to rediscover its ancient heritage of deep and profound faith in Christ.
Immigration has caused a radical change to the ethnic, cultural and spiritual make-up of Ireland. 90% of population growth is from immigration. Ireland willingly adopts these new arrivals, who in turn bring cultural diversity and spiritual passion. Pray for those who do not know Christ or who come from other religious backgrounds, that Ireland may be the land where they meet the Saviour.

Coronavirus Update
It is now possible for 3 households to meet up inside, in groups of up to 8 people, as long as they stay 2 metres apart. Also, a maximum of 15 people from up to 5 households may meet outside, also staying  2 metres apart. I encourage you to make use of this relaxation in restrictions to reach out to anyone who may be isolated and see how they are doing. In the spirit of Jesus’ teaching to not just look out for our friends, or invite those who can repay us, think about those who you might be able to bless who are not in your usual circle of friends. Be the Church!
