Happy Holidays from all the directors and volunteers at CatSpan Registered Charity. We hope your holidays will be filled with joy and laughter through the New Year...
Christmas for CatSpan!
Bosley's North Nanaimo is holding Christmas for CatSpan on the weekend of December 19 and 20!  They will be collecting cat food, litter, fleece fabric, and other items on our wish list.  CatSpan volunteers will be on hand from 12 pm to 3 pm each day to sell CatSpan pet beds (great Christmas presents) and cat toys (great stocking stuffers).
Due to a very delicious mistake, Purdy's sent us extra chocolates we didn't order. As they are very generous people they told us to either eat them or sell them! As such, we are going to auction off two baskets.  The bidding on both baskets will close at 6 pm Friday December 18, 2015.  The auction is on our Facebook page, but you can also place your bids by email.  Click here for more information, then scroll down to the first post.
Thank you to Bosley's North Nanaimo for filling our pantry with cat food as part of their October Thanks-For-Giving campaign.  As you can see in the photo, we needed the donations!
A big Catspan thank you to our volunteer David who built this shelter for three feral cats in Parksville!

Of course, even feral cats need a comfy bed to sleep in!
Photos from our recent coin drive in Oceanside.  Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and allowed us to stand outside their stores and shake a tin.

A big CatSpan Registered Charity thank you to...

Sabine for the generous donation of Weruva cat food!

Dr. Rita and Bill for the donation of foster home equipment and garage sale items!

Betty for donating a case of cat food to us during the Coin Drive!
Petmania for their donations of garage sale items!

Susan and Phil for their donation of a cat bed and heating pad for outdoor kitties!
Volunteer Gregg has a big smile on his face for a very important reason.
This little kitty named Ebby was considered feral so having a cuddle with Gregg is a big step!

Ebby has been adopted by someone who specifically wanted to care for a feral kitten.  The latest update on Ebby is that she is slowly coming out of her shell and that she loves to play!

Black Cat Stitches is donating a portion of sales in December through their Etsy page to CatSpan Registered Charity!  Click here to visit their page.

Every cat (or dog) needs a bow tie for the holidays!

A cartoon of "Freddy the Freeloader" sent in from one of our supporters.

He looks very festive!
