Creative Writing LIVE!
A last-minute class, launched at the suggestion of a former student, and we're gonna try to do it right away. Read on.
Want to write an essay, a novel, a movie, or a play? Let's Do It.
Someone came to me last week asking me to offer my creative writing course -- right now.
Let's do it! And you can take it, too.
I'll teach you the step-by-step way to create a plot, how to write strong description, how to structure your work (and your writing schedule), creative approaches to stronger dialogue, and more -- plus we'll watch and read snippets of great, fun, funny work. We'll discuss why it works, and I'll explain the techniques we'll see, step by step.
It's a small group setting, personalized, and online -- you can do it on your laptop. And it's live!
This is the creative writing course I teach at Georgetown University. I'll deliver six lecture/interactive sessions of 90 minutes to two hours, once or twice a week. We'll work out a schedule once we have everybody.
If you miss a class, you can watch a replay anytime.
But we need to get this nailed down in the next week because my summer writing and speaking schedule is filling up (which makes me very happy -- thanks to all of you).
(And that's not a little white lie of marketing, either. If we don't get started in the next week or so, I'll have to put this off into the fall.)
It's $625 per person. If you're interested, email me at email@example.com, or just reply to this email.
Not sure? Email me anyway. You can commit later, when we finalize the plan.
This will be fun.
