Thank you to those of you who joined the launch of the Monthly Reiki Guidance + Journaling Prompts in March! I look forward to this continued work together and love your feedback.

For those of you new to this offering, below are the details and feel free to reach out regarding any questions on the process.

Monthly Group Reiki Guidance + Journaling Prompts

Sometimes we forget to take the time to acknowledge what has happened with how we feel, want to feel, and want to accomplish. Both Reiki and Journaling have provided me with great insight and inspiration, and I'm hoping that it does for you as well. This monthly email-based service is released on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, and includes:
  • Oracle card(s) reading to guide our efforts each month
  • Group Reiki healing blast (an abbreviated distance reiki healing)
  • Journal prompt based on the above readings & healings
  • & email follow-up
    • Single service option provides follow-up access for one week after the initial prompt
    • Weekly Support add-on provides access to email follow-up each week until the next prompt is provided
You can choose to either purchase this service one month at a time, or you can subscribe to these monthly offerings. Sign up each month closes the Tuesday morning prior at 8:30am.

Acupressure Points for Allergies

Spring is here!...and so are allergies...
So, here's a tool to help you manage and potentially prevent your allergy symptoms. Acupressure is a technique that is easy to use at home and utilizes the same points as acupuncture BUT WITHOUT THE NEEDLES!

Below are the Stomach 36 (ST-36) and Large Intestine 10 (LI-10) locations and application instructions. These points are most effective when used together and should NOT be utilized if you are undergoing cancer or autoimmune treatment.
As always, let me know if you need further clarification.
ST-36 Location:
  • With your knee bent, 4 finger widths below your kneecap, 1 finger width to the outside of your shin bone, within the muscle (not the bony area) 
LI-10 Location:
  • With your elbow bent giving the thumb's up sign, measure three finger widths below your elbow crease on the top/thumb side of your arm, within the muscle
Finger tip / pencil eraser / other blunt tipped object

Three Approaches:
  • If it is tender, firmly press your tool into the point and only use enough pressure to create a sensation without pain. Maintain pressure for up to 2 minutes (or until a numbing sensation is created)
  • Treat existing issues by firmly pressing your tool into the point and create tight circles in a counter-clockwise direction for up to 2 minutes (or until a numbing sensation is created)
  • Prevent recurring issues by firmly pressing your tool into the point and create tight circles in a clockwise direction for up to 2 minutes (or until a numbing sensation is created)
This Self Care technique is safe to use once per day when you are addressing an existing concern. If you are using this technique for self care maintenance, feel free to use this 2-3 times per week.

If your schedule is unpredictable and have difficulty scheduling in advance, then take advantage of this new notification option! This is available for both Existing AND NEW Bodywork clients.

with Positive Psychology

Research has shown that taking pictures while seeking meaning and beauty significantly increased mood, appreciation, and motivation levels.

So, why not jump on this bandwagon as Spring is unfolding and Earth Day is approaching?
The difference with this activity is being mindful when you choose your subject/timing/etc. Don't just snap random images and choose one that looks cool. Be present and allow yourself to be inspired by your surroundings. Below are two of my recent moments. Enjoy!

Bodywork Appointments

Always Good to Know...

  • FSA/HSA payments are accepted for Bodywork appointments (please consult your individual plan for eligibility)
  • If you have a prescription for Massage/Bodywork, you DO NOT have to pay tax
  • If your insurance covers massage, I can provide a SuperBill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement
  • I can work with your existing healthcare team to provide a streamlined and collaborative treatment plan
