Independent Advisory Council  2015 Update

The NDIS Independent Advisory Council (IAC) released its 2015 End of Year Update in December. The purpose of the IAC is to provide independent advice to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Board on how the Agency delivers the NDIS.

Eddie says "Life is good now"

Caption: Eddie Szczepanik is looking forward to 2016 after a busy year last year.

In August 2014, Eddie began walking the Bibbulman Track, in Western Australia, as a member of the first deafblind team to do so. In May 2015, he walked the second part
of this track, one of the greatest long walking tracks in the world.

Webinar: NDIS roll out in Tasmania and South Australia

The NDIA will host two webinars on the NDIS roll out in Tasmania and South Australia on Tuesday 9 February 2016:

  • 10:00am – 11:00am AEST – Tasmania
  • 1:00pm – 2:00pm AEST – South Australia 

The webinars will answer your questions on how you might access the Scheme and what you can do to prepare.
