Jen and Peter Simko are fighting MND together

MND won't stop Jen

Nothing was going to stop Jen Simko when she got the news she had Motor Neurone Disease (MND). The 54-year-old Barwon Health nurse did her research, got involved with MND Victoria, which linked her to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Now Jen is living life to its fullest and staying positive knowing she has a great network of supports in place.

VALID Peer Support To Buy Support Group

Barwon participants support each other

Barwon disability advocacy group, VALID have secured NDIS funding to hold regular peer support group meetings in the Barwon region to help participants and their families work better with the NDIS.
