Evening of Excellence

Nominations are open! The annual WSU Tri-Cities Evening of Excellence awards, brought to you by the Office of Student Life, recognize and celebrate student leadership accomplishments throughout the academic year.

Submit nominations for students, events, clubs, and club advisors. The nominations will close on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 11:55 p.m.

Virtual Celebration
The deadline to register for the WSU systemwide virtual celebration is April 11. The celebration takes place on May 9 and will feature every WSU campus across the system. The in-person commencement ceremony was rescheduled for Aug. 15. More information will come on that soon. Register today!
Resources and Updates
Crimson Community Grants
Crimson Community Grants may be able to help if you are facing issues engaging in classes due to financial need, such as a lack of access to technology or the internet.
Undergraduate, graduate, and professional students system-wide experiencing financial hardship may be eligible for a Crimson Community Grant between $200-$1000 if they have sufficient unmet need in their aid package and meet income guidelines. Learn more
Research Symposium and Art Exhibition
In light of recent developments pertaining to COVID-19, and to best protect our campus and regional community, the Spring 2020 Undergraduate Research Symposium and Art Exhibition will move to virtual presentations in individual course spaces.
Virtual Writing Center
Chat live with a peer writing consultant and get your questions answered in real-time. The virtual Writing Center is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Wednesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Zoom.

Academic Advising
Priority registration for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 opened April 6. To be able to register for classes, students are required to meet with their academic advisor. To schedule a virtual appointment, go to

Student Emergency Hardship Fund
There are times when students come into a financial crisis, which may prevent them from continuing on with their education. The Student Emergency Hardship Fund is there to help provide emergency financial support for students in an unexpected situation. More information
