First of all, we would like to thank UNISDR European Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction for the Damir Čemerin Award in recognition of GEM’s leadership in supporting disaster risk reduction. Our heartfelt thanks go to all our partners and collaborators.
 
The GEM2018 event is almost here. Please join us via live streaming and social media on December 5th for the presentation of the global earthquake hazard and risk maps, and share our press release to your network.
 
We are also highlighting our meeting with US-based collaborators and new partnerships with Aon Impact Forecasting to develop a new earthquake model for Canada and Swiss Re (Institute and Group Underwriting Cat Perils) to improve earthquake risk models for better risk quantification.
