Video: Perspectives on Peace: Sebastian Junger

As part of our Perspectives on Peace series, we hosted this Perspectives on Peace: Conversation on the book “Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging” in collaboration with our partners at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies (at the NECR Program) and the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity (AC4) at the Earth Institute at Columbia University.

The author and journalist Sebastian Junger spoke about his new book “Tribe: On Homecoming and Belonging” and the human drive to belong to groups defined by purpose. After introducing the book, Mr. Junger joined a discussion with Co-Executive Directors of AC4, Peter T. Coleman, and Beth Fisher-Yoshida, along with Andrew Pham, veteran and writer, and Venera Kusari—who also moderated the discussion.
