Every member of our school communities has been impacted in significant ways by this past year and the challenges it has brought. School leaders are focusing on social emotional health as the lens for approaching the 2021-22 school year as an important step in creating safe spaces for students and staff to succeed.

The 2021-22 Principal Study Council offers school leaders a four-part series that will help build a positive school culture by focusing on the social and emotional well-being of themselves, their staff and their students. Through extensive conversations and exploration, participants in the Principal Study Council will form clear, guiding answers to pivotal questions on how to ensure their school remains a safe and inclusive school climate where all students and staff can thrive. 
The series offers school leaders an opportunity for 40 PIL hours pending approval. The topics include:
