I pray that as the rhythm of life picks up for so many of you, that the new beginnings have brought you a spirit of blessing!
As you receive this newsletter mid-week, I wanted to share some words of blessing from a devotional I wrote recently for the wider church, based on the all-important Tetragrammaton of Exodus 3, in which God reveals God’s name:
"I am who I am." - Exodus 3:14 (NRSV)
May you always remember who you are and whose you are!
This week is my first full week of my summer sabbath that the church graciously postponed for me until after my trial concluded. Thank you for this space - it means the world to me. And thank you to Rev. Stephanie and all of the church leadership who are caring for our community in my time of rest. You are all such a blessing!
Pax Christi,
Pastor Kaji
Scripture: Matthew 6:9-13 (Year W):
9 “Pray then in this way:
Our Parent and Provider in heaven,
holy is your Name. 10 May your majestic rule come.
May your will be done,
on earth as in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also forgive our debtors. 13 And do not bring us to the time of trial,
but rescue us from that which is evil.
