The Mirror Theatre Group has continued to perform their street play, Ek Kahani Jagjit Kaurki, addressing the theme of Violence Against Women. This month, they performed in Trilokpuri, Jantar Mantar, Jamia Millia University as well as at Rapid Metro, Ambiance Mall, Gurgaon for Women's Day.
The first batch of the new Indradhanush will be finishing by the end of the month. Our team is hard at work compiling our toolkit of experiences and sessions from the past year. We will be expanding the programme to Nizamuddin Sunder Nursery basti and then Savda-Ghevra J.J. Resettlement Colony, over the next two years. We also plan to send our trainers to under-served government schools.
The We:arth team is working hard developing new products made from recycled goods. Earlier this year they released a lovely filmy calendar. This month, they sold some of their products at the Jesus and Mary College Mela. For more information, please contact Priya at +91 99583 99812.
The Delhi Youth League will be coming to a close on 20 April. All of our teams have played their very best and we are proud of them. Our under-8 team is currently in 3rd place! You can see the current standings here.
