Join us for an evening of lectures by Dr. Tenley Bick and Denise Bookwalter. Professor Bookwalter will discuss the exhibition “68:18 Student Protest in Print,” an exhibition of prints associated with the student protests of Paris in 1968 and Florida in 2018.

Art Education

Arts Administration faculty, Dr. Antonio Cuyler, was welcomed to the International Conference of Social Theory, Politics, and the Arts to present his paper focused on diversity, cultural equity, and inclusion statements in the U.S. Cultural Sector.

Art History

Join Florida State’s Department of Art History as they host discussions with keynote speaker, Michele H. Bogart, and graduate students from around the country for the 36th Annual Graduate Student Symposium on March 8 & 9, 2019 in the William Johnston Building, room 2005.


School of Dance MFA candidates, Julie Opiel, Bridget Close and Sarah Rose, will present “Fractured Form.” This Evening of Dance performance will serve as partial fulfillment of their Master of Fine Arts Degrees in Dance on March 1 & 2, 2019.

Interior Architecture & Design

The Florida State University Department of Interior Architecture Design celebrates high national ranking by DesignIntelligence and recognition for accomplishments within the program, such as 200 Interior Design majors and a supportive, country-wide alumnus base.


“American Theatre” is a nationally recognized magazine focused on promoting the arts and future art leaders that released their first issue of 2019, highlighting current Theatre Administration students from around the United States.

Museum of Fine Arts

The Museum of Fine Arts (MoFA) is excited to announce the opening of Brandon Ballengée’s exhibition “Le Sang Noir” on February 15. Please join us for the opening reception and meet and greet with the artist from 6-8pm.

Facility for Arts Research

Christopher Kardambikis is the third FAR and Away Resident of this season, presented by the Facility for Arts Research. He will be spending February 19th-24th at FAR connecting with Small Craft Advisory Press (SCAP) and the Printmaking area, local authors, and John Mann’s “Floatsink.”


The Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography is pleased to have hosted Susana di Palma in residence. A McKnight Fellow and Founder and Artistic Director of Zorongo Flamenco Dance, di Palma will develope a new contemporary flamenco duet, known as “Casita.”

FSU / Asolo Conservatory

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training continues its season with Craig Lucas’ dark, zany comedy, “Reckless”. Join the Conservatory as a cast of seven play 22 different characters that will take the audience through a thrilling, fresh vision that Lucas helped evolve.
