Save the Date! The Winter Celebration is Friday, January 18th
Performance begins at 6:30 pm
Lincoln Center for the Arts at 820 E Knapp st. Milwaukee WI, 53202

Join us as we come together as a community to celebrate Winter in Wisconsin, Children will raise their voices and sing songs of joy, peace and friendship.

The Winter Celebration will be, as always, at Lincoln School of the Arts (820 E. Knapp Street, east of downtown). The show will be at 6:30 pm next Friday, January 18th, though performers should plan on arriving by 6:15 pm. Please note: If your child is singing in the show, s/he will need you or another legal guardian to attend, too. You are absolutely welcome to bring as many family members as possible to cheer the kids on! The show should be over by about 7:30 pm.

Parents, please note that Emergency Care is not available the evening of the Winter Celebration. If your student is contracted to attend after school, please consider picking up a bit early, performers should eat dinner before arriving. There will be no food available at the Winter Celebration.

Dear Upper Elementary Families:

Respecting the fact that upper elementary students are reaching the age where they may not necessarily always want to sing in front a huge crowd, we are giving upper elementary students the option of whether or not to perform a special group song in the Concert.

The song is the Puerto Rican anthem “Que Bonita Bandera.” Approximately 40 of the upper elementary students have elected to participate, and we will be rehearsing throughout next week in the afternoons.

Click the button below to view the list of upper elementary students who have elected to participate in the Winter Celebration Concert.

Thanks,
Mr. Barry
