We are currently hosting one family, 3 people!

Here is a little information about them:

Andrew and his sons Kyler (age 5) and Noah (age 4): Kyler is in kindergarten and Noah in preschool.  They both attend afternoon school in Moscow, so they ride the van to the day center in the morning.  Andrew is working on getting connected to job and housing opportunities and has taken some great steps so far.  Kyler and Andrew are very grateful to our donors who covered his soccer registration, his season will start in early April but you might see him wearing his jersey already!

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for volunteers who are able to help us with some specific needs.  If you are interested in helping in any of these categories, let us know and we will be able to put together a list of volunteers for specific needs.  Reach us at or call 208-882-0165.

Drivers - We are looking for some volunteers who are able to give our guests a ride from time to time, particularly to appointments when they need to get to Pullman from Moscow or back.  If this is something we could call you for when a need arises please let us know.

Movers - If you have a truck or large vehicle and are able to help us move families into their new homes, let us know if you would like to be contacted when a need arises.

Handymen(women) - If you are good at building and fixing and may be able to help us from time to time with day center projects please let us know!

Unaffiliated Hosts - If you are not affiliated with a congregation but would like to help out when a congregation needs extra volunteers.

Pet Foster Homes - If you may be able to foster a pet so a family would be able to enter the program and have a safe, temporary home for their pet, let us know!

Come and vote—your money in the pickle jar!—for your favorite comfort food cooked up by our fine local congregations.  We’ll all gather in the Trinity Baptist Church this year and be overcome by aromas and tastes, music and friendly conversation—and competition: expect to be wooed by these persuasive cooks! This fun fundraiser was such a hit last year, a true blending of Moscow and Pullman. Fabulous fancy desserts by local restaurants for auction. Don’t miss this evening of pure fun and support for Family!
We have been chosen to be the sole recipient for Campus on The Run 2014. The funds raised from this event will go to helping Family Promise of the Palouse provide our families assistance with a day or two of childcare in order for our families to have the opportunity to go to job interviews.
