Welcome to Tony Funicella, NSIV's New Lab Manager

NSIV is delighted to welcome Tony Funicella as our new Lab Manager!

After an eight-year career in the United States Air Force as a nuclear missile maintenance technician, instructor, and logistical controller, Tony returned to his native New Hampshire to study genetics and biotechnology. NSIV's Impact -

Here's a quick look at the latest updates
on some of metrics we track.

Saying Goodbye to Summer Interns

NSIV and member companies have been saying goodbye to summer interns in recent weeks as they prepare to head back to school.  All interns are offered an opportunity to do a formal presentation to a group of member companies, staff and other interns. There's pizza and sometimes a cake.

Pictured to the left are two of our summer interns who made presentations: Helena Rowe from George Washington University, working for NSIV and Julia Pennington, student at Endicott College interning for Genomic Expression.

Hector Medina (pictured below), a student at Suffolk University, also presented his work.

We were once again wowed by all their accomplishments and their modest accounts of what they've contributed to solving problems and improving processes that often led to savings of both time and significant costs for their companies.

It's been a great summer of resume building, learning new skills, gaining confidence, and participating in a special weekly program just for interns! NSIV and member companies not only welcome summer interns, but many others are here during the fall and spring semesters.
