  • For cold climate. The construction system is built on a concrete floorslab insulated by XPS. The walls are constructed by cross laminated timber with additional insulation layer by simplyfied timber I-beams and mineral-fibre insulation. The airtightness layer in walls and roof are exterior side of the cross laminated boards.

  • For cold, temperate climate. Wood Steel Constructor is a timber frame construction system. The external walls comprise solid timber studs and wood fibre insulation (Schneider Flex 50, 0.039 W/(mK); Schneider Wall 180, 0.045 W/(mK)). The airtightness of the construction system is achieved through the use of an airtight membrane in the wall, roof and floor build-ups, to the inside of the structural elements.
