Welcome to the November 2018 edition of our grants and funding update.

This edition picks up on some of blogs posted on our website over the last few months based on specific funds and other funding matters, as well as some shameless plugs on some of our events coming up soon.

ESIF Calls a plenty
 

Earlier this month we hosted a breakfast briefing focusing on CIOSIF which was well attended by businesses and connectors. The event was ignited by the excellent presentations from the CIOSIF team – a summary of key points can be found below.

In what is presumably the last big batch of Calls for applications for EU funding, there were Calls for all LEPs in the South West.  In the blog below, my colleague Richard Wadman summarises some of these.

 

Local Enterprise Partnerships
 

LEPs have an integral role in shaping the funding that comes into their regions. The below blog gives some more detail and picks up on the rationale behind the 'Great South West' movement.

 

As with previous editions of this funding e-news, there have been a lot of announcements for competitions from Innovate UK for Research & Development funding. Whilst some of the competitions referred to in the below blog have now closed, there are a few that remain open.

As our firm act for a significant number of clients engaged in agriculture and have a team who specialise in this sector, we were pleased to read that Countryside Productivity Small Grants Scheme (CPSGS) will reopen in 2019.

Crowdfunding a project successfully requires many ingredients, including a blend of good marketing and knowing your numbers. One of my colleagues touched on this in the recent blog below.

That's a wrap for my first funding e-news as editor.
