Camp Sidney Dew 2018 Recap
Summer Camp is officially over, but let's not forget all of the fun, fellowship, and memories we have made this year. Summer Camp at Camp Sidney Dew was a complete blast, with the all new Action Afternoon Activities, featuring a variety of new activities which introduced and expanded every scout’s summer experience including: mountain boarding, paddle boarding, shooting sports and so much more.
Of course Waguli left its mark this year at Summer Camp. First off, Tap-out was truly amazing as always, and was a sight and experience that is hard to be matched. If you missed this year, you missed on several amazing Tap-out ceremonies that were sure to leave memories that will last a lifetime. Waguli Watermelon Wednesday was also a huge success with over 50 people attending each week at the Founders' Ceremonial Ring for an amazing time of fellowship and fun while we all enjoyed the sweet soothing taste of delicious watermelon. There was something fun for people of all ages with cornhole, Waguli stick, fellowship, watermelon, and more. So if you find yourself at summer camp next year be sure to go check out Waguli Watermelon Wednesday!
All and all summer camp was a great experience for all Scouts in attendance. Plan on attending Camp Sidney Dew for 2019 Summer Camp! The Program will expand exponentially with experiences that will last a lifetime. In addition, next year will be the 80th year of Summer Camp at Sidney Dew, so make sure you sign up and make 2019 a year to remember!

As many of you know Samuel Pankey is  joining the United States Air Force.  Samuel has been a          tremendous asset to the lodge, and has served  in a  variety of  positions including,  Lodge Secretary, Vice Chief of Administration, and is currently the Vigil Committee Chairman. He is also an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor member, and during all of his term he has served with diligence and commitment. I personally would like to take a moment and wish him the best as he seeks out a new part of his journey, but on behalf  the Lodge I would like to thank him for his future of service. I have no doubt that Samuel will be a great asset for the United States air force, and will have an exceptional future serving his country.
Ordeal is fast approaching, and both the
Elangomat and Nimat committees are looking for new Arrowmen to assist the lodge with Candiates. These are both great opportunities to serve your lodge. Elangomats essentially relive the Ordeal experience in order to guide Ordeal candidates through their journey. Nimats are similar, but they strive to help brotherhood candidates complete the brotherhood conversion. This means helping them prepare and test them over all brotherhood material. If you are interested, fill out the Elangomat and Nimat form at Waguli.com.

Get ready for Fall Fellowship in October!
We are going to have a great time along with a super Auction. This will be an event you want to make sure you are at!
With summer starting to dial down, fall fellowship is getting closer every day!! This year Waguli has more than every planed to ensure that every Arrowmen has an Incredible Time.  Continuing with this years, Birds through the ages, the lodge will be embarking to the Last Frontier and the wild, wild west. All Arrowmen are  invited to test their skills and see how they would do in the wild, wild west. There is sure to be something for everyone while they face off against the ways of the past.
To Top that we are going to have an Auction! All proceeds go to the Camp's Lean Too construction fund to build more new lean toos.
This will be an outstanding and much needed addition to Camp Sidney Dew because it will greatly improve the scouting experience and facilities especially for the Camp Sidney Dew Summer Camp and year round camping.
When registration goes up you can pick to enjoy the whole weekend or just come for the patch trading ,dinner, and the Auction!
If you have items you would like to donate for this great cause please contact Tammy Rogers at tammyrogers13@gmail.com .
