Hi there,
As the RideForPKD crew treks from Kansas all the way to Chatham, Missouri, we cannot help but be overjoyed by the overwhelming support we’re getting from the PKD community.
Take a look, a view, or a listen, to some of our latest happenings:
-
I got to meet with Mayor Michelle Distler of Shawnee, KS to discuss the great work being done in the area to #endPKD. Plus! I was lucky enough to witness Mayor Distler proclaim July 8th as PKD Awareness Day in the City of Shawnee!
-
Meeting Kansas City Congresswoman, Sharice Davids, was such a great opportunity. Check out pictures from our meet-up as we discussed the Ride and the incredible work being done at the University of Kansas Medical Center and the PKD Foundation to #EndPKD.
-
This past week, I also spent an afternoon at KUMC’s Jared Grantham Kidney Institute and had a lovely time meeting researchers, support staff, and students dedicated to PKD research. Read about my time visiting the lab here.
-
Tune in to my radio interview with the hosts of Kansas City’s HOT 103 Jamz! Listen to our lively conversation where we discuss PKD, the Ride to #endPKD, and how you can support the PKD community by donating to the cause.
-
Check out RideForPKD’s feature on Fox 4 News. In the article, I discuss how PKD isn’t slowing down, but neither is the fight to end it. Read more.
Be part of the movement and help us raise additional funds to support the research community in our quest to #endPKD. 👇
