Halloween Journey Angels Needed!!!
Let your inner angel shine because we could really use your help this weekend at the Halloween Journey! We need angel guides for our journey groups. All you need is white or very light colored clothing, an hour and a half of availability, and a readiness to take on one of the most enjoyable jobs within the journey. Adults and responsible children over 13 can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A044EA5AD2BA4FC1-halloween.
A brief, but necessary, orientation will happen this Thursday, immediately after school. Please meet at the front doors of the main building, and plan on spending about 15 minutes. Can't make it Thursday? That's ok; there will be another chance to get oriented at 2:00pm this Saturday. Please meet at the front doors of the main building.
Really want to volunteer, but don't have white attire or can't make either orientation time? Call Amanda at 970.210.1124 to sort out an alternative plan.
Thank you to everyone who sponsored students for the 2019 Walk-a-thon! With you help, students raised $5,094.00 for their classrooms!
Students walked/ran on a 0.4 mile course around our campus and surrounding land and tried to complete as many laps as possible in 1 hour. The most laps completed was 13! And the average laps completed by students was 6. Way to go JRCS students and staff!
Thanks to our community sponsors, every student and staff member received a t-shirt and the winning class will receive a pizza party!
