Shire & Chicago Cares at Willow House - October 7th

On October 7th, Shire employees from all across the world volunteered to make a difference for Shire's Global Day of Service. Thanks to Chicago Cares, Willow House was so fortunate to be matched up with Shire. Volunteers spent the morning creating memory books for Willow House's Annual Holiday Remembrance Gathering as well as helping pack boxes for our upcoming move to Bannockburn.

Thank you, Shire & Chicago Cares for your incredible support!

Vernon Hills High School Lifestyle Fair - October 27th

Willow House Family Recipe - Volume #4

As part of the Willow House newsletter we feature recipes that are treasured by Willow House families. Food can play a huge role in remembering our loved ones and honoring their memory. I had the pleasure of speaking with Donna about the chicken curry recipe that her son, Simon, loved to enjoy. Thank you Donna for sharing your story and delicious recipe with all of us.

- Marissa Rogina, Willow House Intern

"He wasn't afraid of what people thought of him and he would always stick up for the little guy. He was a crusader for the underdog..."
