A short note. 

It has been about 7 months since I last sent out a newsletter, and it has been a joyful, intense, sleep deprived, and deeply fulfilling time in my life. My husband Chris and I welcomed our little baby girl - Aria Grace - into the world on September 4, 2015. 

Life is quickly becoming even more intense! I started back to school last week, and I am now taking the final course in the University of Alberta's post-graduate certificate in Pain Management. And, on this coming Monday, April 4, I will be back teaching at CHANGEPain!

Early last year, I spent a number of months overhauling the Relaxing to Change Pain program I used to teach at the clinic. On Monday, we will be launching a new 9-class program that is broken down into three modules: Breath, Meditation, and Thoughts & Emotions. You can take all 9-classes together or each module individually. Due to some changes made by MSP, the programs at CHANGEpain are now private pay programs. The upside of this change is that the programs offered at the clinic are now available to anyone who would like to take them - you don't have to be a current patient at CHANGEpain.

This newsletter unfortunately doesn't have all the fun links and recommendations that I usually share. I really enjoy putting that part of the newsletter together, but I couldn't get it together in time for this one! It's exciting to think about how much good stuff I will have piled up to share for my next newsletter.
