This is always such an exciting time of the year for us, announcing the results of everyone's hard work! Purple Cake Day only exists because people like you, parents, teachers and children themselves decide to get involved. We must give a HUGE shout out to YOU, our team of committed volunteers who make all this happen.

And it has extra meaning with the earthquakes in New Zealand this week (as First Steps Himalaya reminded us), "our buildings are often better equipped to withstand large magnitude earthquakes whilst many of those in the developing world are not." We work in places where families have no social welfare net and very few financial options. This is why we do what we do – kids helping kids.

We are pleased to announce that we have awarded these grants to our fantastic project partners from your 2016 fundraising:

The Great Christmas Cycle
