WE ARE SUSPENDING ALL GATHERINGS with immediate effect following the Government’s advice today, Monday 16th March 2020.
This includes:
- Tomorrow’s Church Meeting
- All Community Gatherings
- AND Sunday celebrations
As a result, the trustee elections will be postponed and our current trustees will continue in their role. We are grateful to them.
Our church buildings will be closed, although in some circumstances external groups may continue to use them.
We realise that this has big short term implications on our life together and makes caring and supporting each other through this difficult time more challenging.
Tomorrow the Ministry Team will meet (virtually) and begin plans to support Community Leaders in helping to establish a network of support throughout the whole community. We will also begin thinking about what we might offer online on Sundays, and maybe at other times too.
Please don’t hesitate to reply with any thoughts and ideas that you have.
Most challenging will be keeping in touch with those who have no online access. We will need everyone’s help in this.
With prayers that this dark valley will lead us to greener pasture.
