SFmototype: A 3D Design, 3D Printing & Prototyping Challenge

On September 10th, You3Dit and SF Moto are kicking off a 3D design & prototyping contest called SFmototype. The contest will run for 45 days, during which anyone can become their own motorcycle accessory/component creator. Yes…anyone. Have an idea for a motorcycle accessory or component? Submit your idea for a chance to win a motorcycle, 3D printer, CAD training and other prizes!
How to Enter:
1. Sketch an idea, post it on Twitter or Instagram with #SFmototype @SFmototype
2. You3Dit will contact you for a 3D Design file or help you create one
3. Come to SF Moto in San Francisco to pick up your free 3D print
4. Expert judges will determine winners in 3 categories: Best Sketch, Best Design & Best Full Prototype
This sketch-to-solid experience will run between 9/10/16 and 10/22/16. If you need a 3D design created, You3Dit is sponsoring the first 10 design requests, free of charge. Multiple entries are welcome per person. Each person will be given 1 free 3D print from our bot-farm of printers in the SF Moto shop sponsored by Type A Machines, Printrbot, Breath-3DP, Cubicity, BuildTak and eSun!
