smeSpire (www.smespire.eu/) is an FP7 Support Action aiming to turn the challenges of the INSPIRE European Directive implementation into business opportunities for the â€œGeo-ICTâ€ European Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

We are glad to announce that the smeSpire Database and Best Practice Catalogue web applications are now both available at www.smespire.eu.

Both of them are accessible to any anonymous user in view mode, whilst they will be accessible in edit mode only to the owner of the data (already member of the smeSpire network).

You are invited to check and eventually modify/update your data in the Database and to insert your Best Practice(s).

Our Group is also an open place for professionals to share content, find answers, post and view jobs and make business contacts.

The idea is to group together people from private companies and public authorities, possibly at national and subnational levels, and build up a discussion about present open issues related (but not limited) to INSPIRE. More information Here and Here.

To promote academic excellence within the European geospatial community, specifically in development of interoperability standards and the application or improvement of such standards.
