CORE Organic Newsletter, November 2016

Dear reader,
After six years, Ulla Bertelsen has changed her position and handed over the coordination of CORE Organic to me. One of the first activities was to plan a Brokerage event during the upcoming Organic Innovation Days in Brussels together with TP Organics. The Brokerage event will be on December 7, 2016, where the Call Manager Arnd Bassler and myself will present the CORE Organic Cofund Call.
I look forward to this event and expect lots of researchers interested in organic food and farming systems to get together, having the opportunity to find partners for the upcoming CORE Organic Cofund call.

The November newsletter informs you on-going and finished CORE Organic projects.
Enjoy reading.

Best regards,

Ivana Trkulja

CORE Organic project manager

Video: Urban waste products as P-fertilizer

The scepticism towards agricultural use of urban waste is based on results from experiments carried out around the Second World War. Researchers have now shown that the quality of sewage sludge has improved a lot since then.
