Dog Phobia Workshop – 1st Session 16th March 2018
Following the success of last year's dog phobia workshops, we will be holding sessions with pupils that attended last year. In these sessions, friendly dogs will be coming in. The first session will be on 16th March 2018. We will keep you posted on the dates for the next 2 sessions. If you would like to find out more, or would like your child to attend these workshops, please contact Patsy.
It is really important that your child attends school every day to make as much progress as they can. We do not authorise term time leave for holidays unless it is an exceptional circumstance. Also please try and make medical appointments during the school holidays or after hours, if possible. Visit the Parents Zone of school website, where you will find a form you need to download and complete to make a request for term time leave.
Woodfield School International Evening
On Wednesday 9th May 2018, Woodfield School will be celebrating our multicultural community.
We will host Woodfield School's International Evening from 5:00pm - 6:30pm.
A range of free food covering all the continents will be provided by a selection of parents of our students alongside refreshments. There will be a chance to see some performances from our talented students and a special guest. The Mayor of Brent will also be in attendance.
This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate, share and experience the range of cultures within our school.
This will be a ticketed event so look out for further information!!!
2018-2019 School Dates
Updates and changes are always posted on the school website.
We must have emergency contact details for all our pupils. It is vital that we are able to get hold of a contact person in the case of a pupil emergency or illness. We have had issues in contacting parents or guardians, which not only creates concern for the school but also makes pupils anxious.
Makaton is a language programme that is used in conjunction with speech to aid the pupils’ understanding of language and help them communicate with each other more effectively. Makaton is used across the school in lessons and break times. We would love for you to learn some signs so that you can sign with your child. See the We Talk Makaton website for more.
